We've had ourselves a merry little Christmas!

It's hard to believe that Christmas has come and gone...since my family is still partying! Here is a recap of the 'Week of Christmas' in our life...

Wensday the 24th~Christmas Eve
I worked from 9-4 on Christmas Eve--without stop. You ask yourselves who gets thier hair done on Chirstmas Eve??? LOTS of people (to whom I am grateful since it pays the bills) the salon was slammin busy all day long!

I was dog tired after work and had just enought time to squeeze in a little nap before I picked up the boys from Josh.

Being the "off "year my parents house was a bit unusual, we were small in numbers. My mom prepared a yummy lasagna dinner and we vistited with each other. The first Christmas present to be opened on Christmas Eve: my fabulous Christmas PJs and the boys got FLOAM. So for the remainder of the night we played with that. We were all pretty tired and I think everyone would all agree it was (no offence but it was a little lamesauce!)

I tried to get the boys to bed around 9 but don't think they fell asleep til about 11! Since I couldn't finish my wrapping til they were fast asleep, I watched ELF. It always make me laugh, I think it should be added to the list of good Christmas Classics like: It's a Wondeful Life, The Grinch, Frosty, and White Christmas. Then I wrappe til about 1 AM and off to bed I went.

Thursday the 25th~ Christmas Day!

7:20AM The boys jumped excitedly on my bed to wake me! 'ITS CHRISTMAS, ITS CHRISTMAS!! HURRY HURRY HURRY, BUT BRUSH YOUR TEETH> YOUR BREATH SMELLS WEIRD!' these are the sweet messages I heard that morning. Love those little guys.

It's tradition in my family that we all must wait and go in together. The boys did pretty good waiting for me to come back to life and get a move on! The rest of the morning was magical~ it was so fun to watch them. Hilarious is how I would describe it. I didn't feel the least bit bad not to be opening gifts; the boys were happy enough for all of us!

PAYTON'S FAVORITE: FLARP
One of the most memorable moments was when Payton discovered Santa had brought them FLARP (farting putty)! They laughed hysterically for hours on end. Boys!

LOGAN'S FAVORITE: SPY GEAR
Before I knew it they were plotting secrets missions and surprising me with exploding devices!

OVERALL FAVORITE: THE NEW SLEDS AND GLOVES

Although the boys received a gently used and budget friendly XBOX, they wanted to play the new game of connect 4 we got that morning. Ironic. They had a great Christmas!
This little Christmas update took longer than I expected so I'll have to write about the remainder of the day, another day. :)

My latest date...

Some of you are still interested in the dating life of this single gal, here the latest and greatest!

I went on the best date on Monday Night!!!! I've know him forever and felt totally comfortable, it was easy. He always makes me feel so special and important. I know he loves me; I can just tell. We went out for dinner at Maple Gardens and them to see Australia. He didn't even get jealous about me drooling over that hunk of a man Hugh Jackman! ( for those of you who have seen it you know what I'm talking about!) But he did bring his wife to the movie, she was nice to share. Popcorn, treats and my very own drink. He went the extra mile baby!

For those of you who are either totally confused or creeped out~ It was my Dad. He's wonderful and it was so much fun to go on a daddy-daughter date. Thanks Pappy, there will never be anyone as good as you! ;)
